American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

This β€œWestside” Bowie Bakery HAS THE WORST Francesitos, Pan Frances, Pan Blanco or Bolios you can buy in El Paso… they did even resemble any of the described bread above and they did not taste like one either… I hope the owners of the name get on this because I am telling everyone I can DO NOT BUY YOUR FRANCESITOS FROM HERE!!!!… we actually ended up throwing them away!…

I got a barbacoa burrito that was just perfect. It was greasy and hot. The sweet bread wasn't sweet but enough to taste good. I like the sweet bread like that even though I had my doubts.

This place should be inspected by the city for sure they would fail. Also, the menudo has been the worst lately and the white bread burnt. The employees cannot accept feedback so the quality keeps decreasing on their items. I noticed less customers on my visits. I was told not to come by because the manager said β€œI complain too much” according to an employee. I am happy not to shop there anymore.

What an amazing assortment of all types of Mexican style pastries that are fresh and yummy! Always the nicest clerks, and the tamales are excellent, especially for grab and go.

So this morning my husband went over by himself to buy tamales and bread. Like very good husband he didn’t pay much attention to the food. The bread was really hard and flat, then the tamales had a big in them it was. Very tiny one, you could not see it on the Camara that’s why there is phone I didn’t see the point in it. This was a sad, I love this place but they really did a bad job with the food.
